I am confused. Yesterday, I spent a portion of the day looking at china patterns. Why? Because Lawrence thought that I should. Ok. I'm confused. A) We're like, not engaged yet. So why am I looking at china patterns again? And B) Aren't I the girl? Just checking. Sometimes it's hard to tell. So I went to the Noritake website, and this is the one I like best: I have no idea if this is the pattern we will end up registering for, but there ya go. The reason this whole thing came up is because his ex-wife called him asking if he wants their china because she's only used it once in the last year. Of course, I don't really want THEIR china in MY house, but I agreed to look at it. He sent me a picture and it was super girly pink with roses and crap. Yuck. So I dodged that bullet. Anyhoo. China. Weird.

China? Seriously?
I know.
im guessing that china costs almost as much as a wedding itself. oops did i say wedding? i meant....friendship ceremony.
*lol* 'friendship ceremony'
I told you our china story...but I"ll tell it again. People in town put money down for us at this crap store in Cedar everyone registers at (even though we didn't). So we went to redeem our money and picked out a china pattern that would fit into our gift budget. Then the lady said that she would order it and we could pick it up in a month. We're like; we live in texas...and she's like, well then there's nothing I can do for you unless you're going to come back in town and get it. So we ended up buying lots of worthless crap from the store instead. It made me mad, now we don't have china...you're supposed to get china!! Not to mention that if they had to ship it to the store is it really that much harder to ship it to Texas. Anyway...that's my story. ;)
It's a RING ceremony, thank you very much!
I'm sorry you didn't get china. You could say that since you have a fund for it, you have it coming and go buy it anyway! :)
I've never really understood the importance of china. Not the country, it's a world power after all. And, it's got that Wall...it's Great. And, they totally have a monopoly on the buffet market. If only they would get a freakin' alphabet! ...in conclusion...make sure they're microwavable.
Since most china has real metal. . .don't see that happening.
