Get your motors running. Head out on the Highway!
You know how I've been cursed to share a truck with my dad, taking away my freedom and cursing me to spend hundreds of dollars on gas all the time? Well, no longer my friends. No longer. I finally bit the bullet and plunked down cold hard down payment for a car. It is a gorgeous 2005 Chevy Impala. It's been driven by people at the company, but never been owned. Until now. It will get much better mileage than the truck, and it drives faster too! I will be broke forever. Here is a picture of my wonderful car. It looks blue sometimes and purple sometimes. It is very roomy. I am taking suggestions for what to name it.

Whoa! You bought a car!? Awesome! Does this mean you're a grown-up now?
I say yes. Lawrence says my car isn't stodgy enough to qualify me as a grown up. But I say only grown ups pay lots of money for a car!
i am seriously still sitting here with with my mouth agape. beautiful. im jealous. congrats babe
Did Joey go with you to help pick it out? You know, so you know you got a good one?
I'm reading this on Saturday night and wondering how long Cainnum has been sitting there with his mouth open. Makes me wish I hadn't taken so long to check. great. Now I feel guilt.
Actually, Joe didn't go with me, as the dealership delivered two to my house for my approval with no obligation. But he went on the test drive and looked under the hood and all. He did not kick the tires. I feel gipped. Or is it jipped? No idea.
Apparently everyone agrees that my car shouldn't have a name, cause not a single person suggested one. Crazy.
I looked it up. It's gipped or gypped. Now we know. And knowing is half the battle.
I almost owned a blue car once...I had decided to name it my "blue baby bill"...I didn't go through with the sale. Later people informed me that new cars don't have names. New babies don't have names either, but you hae to call them something eventually. ;) They delivered two to your house? now thats service! Who did you go through?
I got it from Saturn of Tyler. My coworker Angie buys all her cars there, and she actually called him to see what he might have for me. The guy was on the phone with me off and on for two days going over my needs, what I want, my finances, etc. At the end when I needed to pick two of the Impalaa, he went to the cars and described all the Impalas to me with details and milage and everything so I could decide which two I wanted to see. I also saw a dark charcoal gray one, but the back seat wasn't as nice in that one, and it had higher milage.
So I should just call it car? Lik ehow I called my son baby for like 6 months? :)
